Cookie Policy

Draft. This document is a draft and must be reviewed and approved by an attorney before publication. The cookie list must be verified by a technical audit of the website before publication. In case of discrepancy, the Czech version prevails.

1. Who uses cookies

The websites icorent.cz and icorent.com are operated by [FILL IN: company name], company ID (IČO) [FILL IN: IČO], with its registered office at [FILL IN: registered office], contact [email protected] ("ICORENT"). The website is intended for businesses seeking B2B financing secured by real estate; ICORENT is not a bank and does not provide consumer credit.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Other technologies such as local storage or tracking pixels work in a similar way; in this Policy we refer to all of them as "cookies".

We distinguish between:

  • first-party cookies – set directly by our website,
  • third-party cookies – set by services of other companies, such as Google or Meta,
  • session cookies – deleted when you close the browser,
  • persistent cookies – stored for a set period or until deleted.

3. Legal framework

Under Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications (implementing the ePrivacy Directive), we may store cookies on your device or access them only with your prior consent, except for cookies strictly necessary to provide a service you have expressly requested. Where cookies involve the processing of personal data, the GDPR and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. also apply. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

4. Cookie categories

4.1 Necessary

These enable core website functions: storing your cookie banner choice, securing forms and logging in to the investor portal. They are always active and cannot be switched off. The legal basis is the exemption under Section 89(3) of the Electronic Communications Act and legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4.2 Analytics

These help us understand how visitors use the website (number of visits, traffic sources, most-read pages) so that we can improve it. They are stored only with your consent.

4.3 Marketing

These are used to measure advertising effectiveness and to show relevant ads on other websites and social networks. They are stored only with your consent.

[FILL IN: update the list according to the tags actually deployed in GTM. List marketing cookies only if the website actually uses them.]

6. Google Consent Mode v2

The website uses Google Consent Mode v2, which passes your consent decision to Google services. Before you make a choice, all optional signals are set to "denied" by default:

SignalMeaningDefaultBanner category
analytics_storagestoring analytics cookiesdeniedAnalytics
ad_storagestoring advertising cookiesdeniedMarketing
ad_user_datasending user data to Google for advertisingdeniedMarketing
ad_personalizationpersonalised advertising and remarketingdeniedMarketing
functionality_storage, security_storagenecessary functions and securitygrantedNecessary

Only when you allow a category in the cookie banner are the corresponding signals switched to "granted", and only then are the relevant cookies set. Third-party marketing tags outside Google (e.g. Meta Pixel) do not fire at all without consent to marketing cookies.

[FILL IN: state whether the website uses basic or advanced Consent Mode. In advanced mode, Google services may receive cookieless pings without identifiers even without consent (e.g. a page-load signal), which Google uses for modelling. If advanced mode is used, it must be described here explicitly; basic mode is the safer option under Section 89(3) of the Electronic Communications Act.]

7. How to give, change or withdraw consent

  • On your first visit, a banner appears with "Accept all", "Reject all" and "Settings" buttons. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
  • In the settings you can enable analytics and marketing cookies individually.
  • You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
  • You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may limit website functions such as portal login.

If you do not give consent, the banner will be shown again no earlier than after 6 months or upon a material change in the cookies used. [FILL IN: verify banner configuration.]

8. Features that do not use cookies

The contact form, the automatic data checks in ARES, ISIR, the VAT register and the Land Registry, and the WhatsApp link do not store any cookies in your browser. Clicking the WhatsApp link takes you to a Meta service governed by its own cookie policy.

9. Transfers outside the EU

Google and Meta may process data obtained via cookies in the USA. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

10. Contact and changes

Please send questions to [email protected]. We update this Policy whenever the cookies used change; the date of the last update is shown at the top.
